Set in the historic town of Stanford 20kms from Hermanus in the heart of the Overberg.
The Stables belongs to Bugler Cottage next door, one of the oldest houses in Stanford, built in the mid 1800’s as a laborers’ cottage. The postman lived in Bugler and used his horse to fetch the post from Hermanus, hence ‘The Stables@Bugler’.
It is centrally situated within the village with easy walking access to restaurants, antique and specialty shops as well as to the Saturday morning market. The local wandelpad is within a two minute walk from the cottage.
The cottage consists of a bedroom with a queen bed which can be converted into two single beds, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a living area. The living area is comfy for relaxing and also has a table and chairs for eating or working.
There is a veranda which looks onto the garden. There is also a pit-braai area which has a secluded, protected area where one can sit and relax and enjoy the birdsong.
There is off-street parking and wifi is available.
R950 per night for the self-catering cottage.
