CASA CELLO
A brand new Portuguese eatery under the talented direction of Chef Jose Marinho. As from July 1st, Casa Cello is open for business, offering a fresh menu bursting with Portuguese flavors, all while maintaining the warm and welcoming hospitality Stanford Hills is known for. Open 7 days a week.

ACCOMMODATION

Nestled at the foot of the Klein River Mountains, our quaint cottages and luxurious Vineyard Villas offer incredible views and an escape to nature on a 130ha protea farm. The estate boasts lush vineyards, olive orchards, and ample space for walks and mountain biking. Experience the tranquility of swimming in farm dams or take to the trails on horseback.

FACILITIES All accommodations are child and pet friendly by arrangement. Our cozy cottages and spacious Vineyard Villas feature indoor fireplaces and outdoor braai facilities, with bedding, towels, and firewood provided.

Brunia & Sylvia Cottages: Sleeps 5 (1 double, bunk bed and 1 twin). Equipped with a shower, no bath.
The Manor House: Sleeps 11, with 4 bedrooms inside the house plus an additional separate unit with an en-suite bathroom. Each wing has a shared full bathroom. Amenities such as a living room, dining room, kitchen, patio, and pool are shared among guests. A cleaning service is available upon request (R250 for general clean). Manor house also has a Smart TV.
Vineyard Villa 1: Sleeps 2. This newly built semi-detached cottage features a plush queen-size bed, a luxurious bathroom with a shower and bathtub, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living area with a fireplace, smart TV, and access to Netflix. The private patio offers stunning views and includes braai facilities and a wood-fired hot tub.
Vineyard Villa 2: Sleeps 4. Adjacent to Villa 1, this villa mirrors its luxury and comfort with a queen-size bed in the main bedroom and two single beds in the second bedroom. It also features a bathroom with a large shower, a fully equipped kitchen, a living area with a fireplace and TV, and a patio with braai facilities, a wood-fired hot tub, and private garden views.
ACTIVITIES Explore hiking trails, enjoy horse riding on the farm, or participate in mountain biking through scenic routes.

WEDDINGS & EVENTS Stanford Hills is not just a peaceful retreat but also a vibrant event destination. Home to popular annual events like The Stanford Stumble, it’s the perfect venue for weddings and functions.

A minimum stay of 2 nights is required during weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.
