It comes with being a <strong>heritage village<\/strong> \u2013 we have a natural curiosity for \u2018what was\u2019, a curiosity we so enjoy sharing with visitors and friends of our little part of the Overberg. The estates farm roots date back to 1839. This ancient forest is named after the Afrikaans word for \u2018flat forest or bush\u2019 \u2013 when looking down on the property from an elevated road, the forest resembles a \u201cflat green swath of fynbos\u201d.
