One such tradition is that in country villages, <a href=\"http:\/\/viagranoprescription.net\" style=\"text-decoration:none;color:#676c6c\">viagra buy<\/a>  people used to gather on the Common or Village Square, <a href=\"http:\/\/cialis-sale-online.net\" style=\"text-decoration:none;color:#676c6c\">sick<\/a>  to talk about the events of the day and to share local news (this was a time before newspapers and e-zines). Whatever stress or worry you had would disappear after some friendly banter and a few laughs with friends. Thankfully this is a tradition that Stanford has kept.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>An integral part of Stanford country life is our famous markets, fairs and bazaars. It is not only an opportunity for people to earn a living or raise funds for a worthy cause but be connected to the community they live in. What better place to socialise that a good old-fashioned market or fair under the big open sky? It is a place where you feel connected to your community and your environment, and a way to end the work of the week or month with a well-earned celebration.<\/p>\n<p>In keeping with the Stanford tradition of community markets, we have loads of events for you this month. At the <strong>weekly Saturday morning market,<\/strong> you can buy delicious eats and produce from our local Food Heroes \u2013 free from additives and preservatives, the way it used to be in the good old days. <strong>Graze Food Market <\/strong>every Wednesday morning, offers a range of fresh vegetables and fruit and why not have a coffee while you\u2019re there? On Friday <strong>26 September <\/strong>is our first <strong>Sunset Market<\/strong> after the rainy winter months. There\u2019s always great food, great wine and a great vibe.<\/p>\n<p>On Heritage Day, <strong>24 September<\/strong>, <strong>Mosaic Lagoon Caf\u00e9 <\/strong>are having a heritage braai with some delicious eats. In the morning, meet fellow dog-owners on the corner of Sillery &amp; Sannie Badenhorst Streets to go for a walk round scenic Stanford in aid of <strong>Stanford Animal Welfare Society.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On <strong>27 September<\/strong> we have the <strong>Car Boot Sale<\/strong> on the Village Green \u2013 come have a look as you never know what bargains you might find. Saturday, <strong>4 October<\/strong>, the NG Kerk will host their annual <strong>Kerk bazaar.<\/strong> There will be <strong>music<\/strong>, <strong>car boot sale<\/strong>, <strong>potjiekos-kompetisie <\/strong>and the beautiful <strong>blommeskou<\/strong> in the church. There will be lots of activities for the kids and adults.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s all for now, folks.
