Well, tadalafil<\/a> it looks as though \u2013 dare I say it \u2013 spring<\/strong> is slowly showing up after a long winter.\u00a0 Already blossoms<\/strong> are bursting forth and the tell-tale scent of jasmine is signalling that the season is turning. In step with Spring, we are also waking up and shaking off the winter cobwebs. We\u2019re getting ready with some exciting events<\/strong> to help you come alive, revive and put a little spring in your step. It\u2019s time to come out of hibernation mode<\/strong> and visit our lovely village<\/strong> of Stanford!<\/p>\n

To celebrate spring we have some great musical acts<\/strong> lined up. First up we\u2019ve got an incredible show at Stanford Hills Estate<\/strong> \u2013 legendary rock band Livingston<\/strong> will be performing an unplugged session on Wednesday 26 August. There are limited tickets available for this gig so book yours now<\/a> \u2013 don\u2019t miss this opportunity to see these guys perfom in a great venue.<\/p>\n

For the more classically minded <\/strong>musical folk, on Friday, 4 September, Stanford Classics is back. Five friends from the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra <\/strong>will perform some beautiful classic and light popular music in the wonderful setting of the NG Church Stanford where the accoustics are just perfect to enjoy this kind of concert. They have performed around the world for numerous prestigious orchestras, as well as regular outdoor concerts in the Kruger National Park in aid of counter poaching<\/strong> and are a visitor favourite at the now famous annual Wine, Whale and Music weekend at De Hoop. Book your tickets<\/a> now for this very popular event<\/p>\n

On 29 August, well known speaker and adventurer David Grier<\/strong> will take us on inspirational journey\u00a0running around the world. His message is of hope<\/strong> and making a difference in people\u2019s lives through his charity, Miles for Smiles<\/strong>. The Viva Art\u00a0Festival<\/strong> is back in September. Are you artistic or creative<\/strong>? Why not join the Viva Foundation to paint and create art<\/strong> in the Stanford community. They are painting at different dates in September:\u00a011, 18 and 25<\/strong>, and then on\u00a010 October<\/strong>\u00a0they are painting and celebrating the art and the wonderful community in Stanford with the Viva Art Street Festival. Come and give the youth hope by painting together<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For the long weekend in September, 24-27<\/strong>, we have some wonderful activities for the whole family. On Thursday, 24 September, we have our annual Nose to Tail Trail<\/strong>, where all the pets go for a long walk and stand the chance to win a prize. OnFriday, 25 September<\/strong>, the whole family are invited to join us for a Heritage Treasure Hunt<\/strong>. Learn more about Stanford\u2019s history while hunting for the heritage clues. Stanford is after all, the third best preserved village <\/strong>in the Western Cape.
