Relax; make time for yourself and the family. Enjoy long, but easy, mountain walks. Meander through the vineyards. Smell the fynbos. Here look and listen takes on a whole new meaning, enjoy the sound of birdlife – nature’s own musicians.

Kleinboet – The breakaway cottage – (max 2) Rate on request

This lovely, fully furnished cottages is perfect for a breakaway weekend for two! Forget about the hustle & bustle of the city and come relax. The farm offers a wide variety of birdlife and safe walking trails. Nothing beats a bottle of Kleinboet in front of the (indoor) fireplace during Winter, or pack tjops and wors for a lovely summer braai on the patio. Kleinboet is perfect year round. Sleeper couch

Bloos – The spoil her for a weekend cottage Rate on request
A weekend for two on a farm just outside a small town, with very limited cellphone reception… Doesn’t that just sound like heaven! Well the Bloos unit is perfect for a couple looking to relax and regroup. Leave the children with Skoonma and come take long walks in the vinyards or swim in the dam.The unit is fully furnished and offers in indoor & outside braai. Sleeper couch/R150pn

Kleinboet and Bloos Cottages are adjacent to one another, with separate entrances while sharing a patio. Spend summer evenings making new friends or bring some along.

Swartskaap – The bring the kids along cottage – (max 2) Rate on request
Swartskaap is about 10m away from Kleinboet and Bloos and offers just the right amount of privacy while still being together. This lovely, fully furnished cottage is perfect for a breakaway weekend for 2! The bathroom has a bath and private outdoor shower. Self-catering cottage. Bedroom with a bath.

Posmeester – The family cottage Rate on request

Here at HPF we are all about family – We even like the Skoonma! So we knew a family unit was a must on the farm. The Posmeester cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and one has twin beds. This units sleeps 6 in total and has two bathrooms. Large fridge and freezer. The open plan living areas are ideal for family living. Once again there is an inside and outside fireplace. Stertswaai – The Family Cottage sleeps 8 people Rate on request

Here at HPF we are all about family – We even like the Skoonma! So we knew a family unit was a must on the farm. The Stertswaai cottage has 3 bedrooms and a loft, 2 with double beds, one has twin beds that can also be converted into a double bed and 2 single beds in the loft. This units sleeps 8 in total and has two bathrooms. Large fridge and freezer. The open plan living area are ideal for family living. There is also a large stoep with a panoramic view of the farm. Once again there is an inside and outside fireplace. Bring the whole family and come and enjoy the farm. Take a dip in the dam or just relax with a good book.

You’ll also love to know…
Electricity in cottages. All cottages have hot & cold running water and make use of gas geysers. Reasonable Vodacom and Cell C reception. Each cottage has a plug point at which phones can be charged. Indoor and outdoor braai facilities. Microwave. We love animals, but because this is a working farm, we cannot accommodate pets.
All cottages are non-smoking units.
Bathrooms: only toilet paper and towels are supplied.
We supply firewood, blits & a grill.
